Service Description

*** There are two levels of AfterCare. If you are unsure of the level which your pet needs, please contact me to discuss. *** As an experienced veterinary nurse I understand the level of care your pet needs post surgery, however owners can sometimes find surgery aftercare daunting or stressful. This can be due to work commitments or just from a lack of experience. I offer this critical service for the period of time when your pet requires the most hands-on TLC. I will take care of your pet in my home round the clock for the duration of their stay with me. Basic vitals will be taken periodically throughout the day. I will also will carry out any required treatment laid out by your vets. This can be, but not limited to: - medications - aided walks - basic physiotherapy - wound care and management - post op checks with the vet - suture removals - special diets I am comfortable with and knowledgeable in routine surgeries through to complex orthopedic operation aftercare. Complex AfterCare is £50 per day. This is for larger operations which require strict post operative treatment. If your pet requires cage rest as part of their recovery you must provide this yourself. However, if you do not have a secure cage, I can provide one for your pet at an additional cost of £2 per day.
